Patricia Becker says anti-police Facebook page is attacking her by posting a picture of her father's casket
A Monroe woman is continuing her fight against an anti-police Facebook group, claiming the group is now attacking her and her late father.
Patricia Becker says she found the Facebook page, called "America's Most Hated," last month, and reached out to News 12 to help get it removed. The page was removed, but as of Tuesday morning, Becker says it is back on Facebook.
Becker's father, an NYPD veteran and 9/11 first responder, died of lung cancer two years ago. A picture of his flag-draped casket is now on the Facebook page, along with other photos of police officers injured and bloodied.
"When I saw that, I was just sick to my stomach," says Becker. She believes the administrator is a business owner in Warwick. When News 12 contacted the man, he denied any involvement and hung up.
Facebook says the page does not meet its guidelines for removal. Becker says she was told by police there is little anyone can do about it.
