An amazing story of courage and cooperation has emerged from Florida where a man with no flying experience -- landed a plane full of people.
The pilot of the plane flying from the Bahamas to Florida suffered a medical emergency so a passenger was forced to take the controls.
The air traffic controller who helped guide him to the ground in West Palm Beach, Florida explains how he helped:
"I just kept him calm. He stayed really calm. I just talked him through everything, taught him how to use the breaks when he got on the runway, to reduce the power so he could do a slow descent to try to land on the runway," says Robert Morgan, air traffic controller at Palm Beach International Airport. No one was injured.
The FAA is investigating.
