The State Education Department and the Yonkers school superintendent launched an investigation into possible tampering with state-mandated tests for the fourth grade at two schools. Raymond Del Maestro of the Casimir Pulaski School and Marilyn Walder of School 29 have both been reassigned pending the outcome of the probe. Parents have started a petition to have Walder permanently dismissed from the school so the returning classes can start fresh.
