A fire near the Tarrytown Metro-North station caused slight delays in service on MTA's Hudson Line.
Officials say at 1:49 a.m., a track equipment train caught on fire south of the Tarrytown station.
Fire department and maintenance personnel responded to the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported.
One train was delayed at Greystone Station for approximately 45 minutes with 29 customers onboard while maintenance personnel inspected the tracks/signals and track equipment .
Power was restored around 3:33 a.m.
Hudson Line customers were experiencing delays of up to 10 minutes while crews work to repair the tracks near Tarrytown.
