Two Ossining police officers are being recognized for saving the lives of victims overcome by carbon monoxide in a home.
Body cameras attached to the uniforms of police officers Pasquale Santucci and Javier DeJesus captured the rescue on Jan. 31.
The officers discovered women collapsed in the Croton Avenue home, overcome by the gas. They then searched for other victims living in the house.
All 10 people living in the house were rescued.
The Ossining Police Department has 64 body cameras for its patrol officers. The cameras have been in use since October 2014.
Santucci and DeJesus will receive an award for their efforts by Westchester County on May 14.
