Ossining police hope a witness comes forward in the double stabbing of two Ecuadorian day laborers that left one dead and one hospitalized.Juan Pablo Sasaguay, of Ossining, was found stabbed to death in front of his Croton Avenue home Oct. 15. While police were investigating, they followed a blood trail up the block where they found 25-year-old Fausto Sauquipai, of Tarrytown.Sauquipai is expected to make a full recovery from multiple stab wounds. Sasaguay was laid to rest in Ossining Oct. 19.
Ossining officials are still trying to piece together the timeline leading up to the events. Police say they hope there is someone who can help them crack the case. Police even released a photo of Sasaguay after his death to spur leads.
