Orange County homeowners who have been exposed to potentially cancer-causing water, have reached a settlement with the county.
The Goshen homeowners say they have well water that is contaminated with a gasoline additive which is a known carcinogen.
Their attorney says it came from leaky fuel tanks at two nearby yards belonging to the Department of Public Works.
Under the settlement, Orange County will pay the homeowners $1,500,000 and provide them with clean water.
The Goshen homeowners' attorney says the resolution is long overdue.
