A Yonkers organization is spreading joy this holiday season to children with developmental disabilities.
Operation Santa Claus - an organization that raises funds to assist children and adults with developmental disabilities - raised $5,000 for Ferncliff Manor.
That money will purchase hand-picked toys and equipment for the more than 50 residents at the center for the disabled.
"You see the smiles on their face when they see that someone really cares," says Operation Santa Claus chairman Nick Spano. "That makes it all worthwhile."
