An open house was held Sunday to preview the seized estate of disgraced former North Salem Supervisor Paul Greenwood before it goes to public auction.
Greenwood pleaded guilty to six counts of federal securities fraud after being arrested in 2009. He was stripped of his properties on Wheeler Road in North Salem and is now facing prison time.
One property holds three bedrooms, two garages and sits on nearly three acres of land. Another property is on four acres and includes a pool.
The crown jewel of the properties is a more than 9,000-square-foot mansion on nine acres with a water view. It contains five bedrooms.
The opening bid for the smaller homes starts as low as $360,000. The mansion starts at $1,450,000. The bidding starts at $2,250,000 for all three properties.
The live auction of the estate is set for Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in White Plains.
