Authorities say a third firefighter was hurt in a massive house fire Friday in Beacon.
Beacon Fire Chief Tom Luccheisi says the rescuer fell down the stairs during early-morning firefighting efforts at 28 West Church Street and reported feeling pain later in the day.
Two other rescuers were injured when a ceiling collapsed on them at the two-family rental home.
Officials say one unit was rented and no one was home at the time of the fire.
Officials say the home was under renovation and that the fire does not appear suspicious. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
All three firemen hurt suffered minor injuries, according to authorities.
