Bronxville school officials say its school building was sent into a hold-in-place on Wednesday after reports of a potential bomb threat.
Police say they received information from a National Hotline just after 1:25 p.m. reporting a potential bomb threat located outside of the school building.
Officials say K-9 units swept the perimeter of the building, including vehicles in the parking lots and vehicles lining the surrounding streets.
Police and school officials were able to stage a staggered dismissal of grades 6-12, followed by elementary school students.
No devices were found, according to police.
Police say they will maintain an increased presence in and around the school for the remainder of the week as an additional security measure.
Investigators acknowledged the threat was not connected to any current or former Bronxville students.
