Officials: 200-pound propane tank washes ashore at Croton Landing Park

Croton police say they were informed about the tank on Friday at around 5:30 p.m. First responders at the scene removed it from the water and brought it to land.

Officials are advising the public to stay away from a 200-pound propane tank that recently washed ashore at Croton Landing Park.
Croton police say they were informed about the tank on Friday at around 5:30 p.m. First responders at the scene removed it from the water and brought it to land.
Officials ask the public to leave the tank alone as it will be safely removed on Saturday by a local propane company.
