A NYPD officer was arrested in Norwood Tuesday, the department says.

Officials say Christopher Torres Garcia has been charged with attempted disseminating indecent material to a minor and official misconduct.

The 36-year-old was arrested while off-duty.

It's not clear what led to Torres Garcia's arrest.
