Multiple correction officers were injured in separate recent attacks at Sing-Sing Correctional Facility.
Union leaders say the attacks happened on Aug. 16 and 29.
In the first, one officer was repeatedly punched in the face and body.
In the second, an officer was slashed multiple times with a makeshift weapon.
The inmates who attacked the officers were serving life sentences.
Both officers were treated at a hospital and were expected to be OK.
