New York state is suspending construction-related lane closures this holiday season.
As of Christmas Eve morning, all construction work causing temporary lane closures will be suspended until 6 a.m. on Thursday.
The suspension will resume next week on New Year's Eve at 6 a.m. to Jan. 2 at 6 a.m.
Some work may continue behind concrete barriers or for emergency repairs.
