New York state lawmakers are discussing the possibility of voting for pay raises next month.
According to an Associated Press report, top lawmakers have said they may seek a special session in December to consider the pay raise, which would likely apply to state commissioners and other top officials, too.
Legislators now make $79,500 per year.
They haven't had a raise in 14 years.
