NYPD: One man fatally shot in the Bronx, suspect arrested

Police say a 34-year-old man is dead after getting shot in the chest in the Norwood section of the Bronx Friday morning.

Police say a 34-year-old man is dead after getting shot in the chest in the Norwood section of the Bronx Friday morning.
The NYPD says the shooting occurred at around 1:30 a.m. Friday on the corner of East Gun Hill Road and Webster Avenue.
A 36-year-old man was identified as a person of interest and arrested near the location. A firearm was also recovered.
Sources say this may have stemmed from an attempted robbery, but the investigation is ongoing.
