A Nyack church says it will not press charges against a suspect accused of defacing the religious building with graffiti.
Police say the drawings were found on the back of Saint Ann's School on Jefferson Street on Aug. 29. The building is not currently functioning as a school.
Orangetown police told News 12 that they believe they know who the suspect is and released a sketch of the person on Facebook. He has not been apprehended.
Father Vladimir, who runs the building, says he will not be pressing charges. The father's actions were not surprising to those that know him well, who say he's a very compassionate person.
There was no word on when the graffiti would be cleaned up.
