The state Senate has passed a bill that includes significant voter reform that will expand voting access across the state.

The law will enact same day voter registration as well as give every New Yorker the right to an absentee ballot.

It includes giving New Yorkers access to tracking their ballot online. 

The bill puts in place permanent absentee ballot drop boxes and speeding up the counting of those absentee
