There is a small sign of progress as the state's COVID-19 infection rate has dipped slightly.
New York's positivity rate sits at 3.16%, with just over 4,000 new cases reported Monday.
Sadly, 28 more people died from the virus.
The Mid-Hudson Region saw a more significant drop as the infection rate went from 3.64% on Sunday to 3.56%.
Two new deaths were reported in the area - one in Dutchess County and another in Westchester County.
