Employees at the Michael Malotz Skilled Nursing Facility on Odell Avenue in Yonkers rallied Wednesday because they say they are concerned about their future under the facility's new owner.
They say the new owner sent a letter informing all employees that they will have to reapply for their jobs at a lower rate, and will have to contribute more toward their health insurance coverage.
There are more than 200 employees at the facility.
News 12 tried to talk to the owners of the Sprain Brook Manor Rehab that acquired the facility, but the manager said there was no one there and that the administrators have no comment.
Employees are planning another protest Thursday, which is also the deadline for them to reapply for their jobs.
