Hundreds of nursing home workers from across the state picketed in front of the Regency Extended Care Center in Yonkers to demand better treatment.
The protesters are members of the SEIU, which represents about 160 nursing homes in New York City, Long Island and Westchester.
Their demands include a new contract that includes a raise, health benefits, safe staffing levels and a pension.
The nursing home employees have been working without a contract since September.
