A nurse from Suffern made his way to Texas to aid patients impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Eli Binshtok, who works at White Plains Hospital, is among 50 volunteers from the New Jersey Hospital Association caring for people at the Bay Area Regional Medical Center in the South Houston city of Webster.
"The people here are amazing, they are so resilient...never seen anything like this in my entire life," Binshtok says.
Back home in Suffern, family members say Binshtok is right where he wants to be.
"To know that he's there, helping with the love that he has...it makes me love him 1,000 times more," says his wife, Melissa.
