Northern Westchester man arrested for driving while impaired by drugs
The Putnam County Sheriff says an investigator was driving on Route 311 near the I-84 overpass in the Town of Kent when he was nearly hit by a car.

A Northern Westchester man has been arrested, accused of driving while impaired by drugs.
The Putnam County Sheriff says an investigator was driving on Route 311 near the I-84 overpass in the Town of Kent when he was nearly hit by a car passing another vehicle.
The investigator pulled the car over and says he smelled burnt marijuana, so he did some field sobriety tests and found the driver, 44-Year-old Carmine Caruso from Granite Springs, was driving impaired.
Caruso's car was towed.
He was given several tickets and will have to go to Town of Kent court.
