yesterdayBrian Venuti, a North Salem man, is facing multiple charges after being arrested twice within 24 hours.
Venuti's first arrest occurred on Saturday morning when he damaged parts of Carmel Cinema and falsely claimed to be a police officer.
He was released on an appearance ticket.
The second arrest took place on Sunday morning when deputies found him lying on the road.
Venuti resisted arrest and injured two deputies during the process. He is now facing charges of burglary, criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration, and assault.
