Nor’easter impacts: FAA issues ground delays at tri-state airports
The Federal Aviation Administration issued ground delays at airports in the tri-state area as the nor'easter brings strong winds and heavy rains to the region.
John F. Kennedy International Airport is experiencing ground delays averaging 1 hour and 42 minutes due to low ceilings as of Sunday afternoon.
LaGuardia Airport is experiencing ground delays averaging 1 hour and 46 minutes due to low ceilings, also as of Sunday afternoon.
Newark Liberty International Airport is also expiring ground delays due to low ceilings averaging 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Sunday's nor'easter prompted Gov. Kathy Hochul to declare a state of emergency.
