Mothers in the Hudson Valley received essential supplies Saturday thanks to a local organization.

The nonprofit organization Bundles of Joy NY is hosting a contact-free outdoor distribution event for residents of the Tuckahoe Housing Authority.

Families can grab a variety of essentials for their children, such as baby formula, wipes, and diapers.

The group is based out of Bronxville and aims to provide for babies, toddlers and new parents who are in critical need. It serves around 1,500 families each year.

The Bundles of Joy founder says one in three families are forced to choose everyday between diapering or feeding their baby.

Saturday's distribution was possible with help from a grant from the community fund.

The organization says it plans to hand out essentials to 100 families at this event.

The distribution runs until 1 p.m.
