Upgrades to deal with noise complaints at the Westchester County Airport are now complete.
The county says portable noise monitors have been added in areas with a high number of noise complaints.
Permanent monitors have also been upgraded and integrated with the complaint handling system.
The Board of Legislators has also authorized County Executive George Latimer's request for a nearly $4 million bond act to complete remediation measures as part of the county's storm drain replacement project at the airport.
The county says the pandemic put a halt to its scheduled public hearings on the airport master plan back in the spring.
It plans to announce dates for a new round of hearings once it is safe to do so.
