No March Madness games? No problem! Check out these fun alternate brackets.
With everything basically canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, sports fans, and many others, may find themselves looking for things to do or watch. And this includes those March Madness brackets. It seems, though, that people are getting creative with brackets to keep themselves busy. And while, these fun brackets may be nothing new to some, for others, it’s definitely a great competitive escape to pass the time.
Here are just a few of the March Madness brackets out there.
These guys started a Billy Joel song bracket.
Premise is simple, fill out your bracket and then vote for your picks on @joe_manniello's Twitter page. Fans can join in playful banter about why they picked certain songs.
The New Kids on the Block are getting in on the fun. Earlier this week, they launched their own #NKOTBMarchMadness bracket – pitting fans against each other on Twitter as they argue over which songs deserve to win.
An added bonus – the New Kids are retweeting fans and commenting on their brackets and picks!
On what would have been opening day for baseball season, the Yankees announced their own #BronxBracket – asking fans to vote on the top 64 moments in the team’s history.
Ahead of the 15 anniversary of the show, “The Office,” released a bracket, #Office15. Fans got to vote on their favorite episodes of the show.
This fan started a rom-com March Madness bracket – where people can vote on different romantic comedies.
The list is really endless of topics you could put together with your friends. From songs of the decades to sports moments to films to TV show episodes – anything is up for grabs for some friendly competition between friends.
For those who are unfamiliar with March Madness brackets, here’s a quick explanation.

-Pick a topic (the sky’s the limit) or join in the fun of one that’s already made.
-Print out the bracket (blank if making your own).
-If making your own – fill out the 64 slots on the right and left side.
-Now the fun part, pick your favorite of the pairs until you get to the final pick. Choose your selections wisely – as you don’t want to get knocked out in a specific bracket!
-If on social media or with your friends, make sure to vote for your picks.
-Enjoy the bragging rights if you win.
