The Newburgh School Board is revisiting its decision to dismiss several football coaches, including Head Coach Billy Bianco, after emotional appeals from players and parents.

A large crowd attended Tuesday's school board meeting, rallying behind Coach Bianco. The controversy surrounding the coaches' dismissal stems from a violent incident in the school's weight room last fall.

The incident led to the cancellation of the football season and suspensions for players and coaches.

The district's lawyer has invited the coaches to a meeting next week to reassess their evaluations.
