A man has been arrested for allegedly extorting money and nude photos from a victim on Facebook.

Newburgh police say 24-year-old Kyle Meissner used a fake profile to contact the victim through Facebook messenger.

Police say Meissner allegedly claimed to have nude photos of the victim. He then threatened to post those photos unless she provided cash and more explicit pictures.

Meissner has been charged with grand larceny, coercion and aggravated harassment.
