The Newburgh City Police Department is holding an open house for people interested in applying to become a police officer.
Members of the department's SWAT, scuba, detective and other specialized units will be available to answer questions. Applications will also be accepted on site.
The open house is Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the City Activity Center on Washington Street.
