A New York teacher was arrested on possession of child porn charges in Greenwich, police say.

John Mueser, 69, of Tuckahoe, New York, was arrested on several charges including possession of child pornography.

Greenwich police say they began their investigation back in October 2019 while combing through digital evidence and thousands of digital photographs.

Mueser's attorney says his client wants to move forward with the case to clear his name.

Mueser was employed at Riverdale Country School in New York.

The school says Mueser was immediately placed on leave when they learned of the investigation back in October.
