A meet-and-greet event was held Wednesday in White Plains for fans of the New York Liberty basketball team.
The all-female team is set to play its first game of the season – and its first game in Westchester - at the County Center Friday.
As News 12 reported, the team used to play at Madison Square Garden, but when the company couldn't find anyone to buy the franchise, the team moved to Westchester.
Activities at the event Wednesday included free memorabilia and tickets.
