The New York Blood Center is hosting its 25th blood drive Friday in partnership with the Putnam County Firefighters and Fraternal Order of Police.
The drive happens twice a year during typically critical times for the blood supply.
It will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carmel VFW.
The Blood Center says one donation could save up to three lives. It takes just an hour to donate.
