A decorated war hero received an emphatic welcome home from his Orange County hometown Saturday.
Army Capt. Carl Coleman was honored at the American Legion hall in New Windsor and earned a state proclamation for his accomplishments.
He served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and one in Africa and was granted a Bronze Star.
Coleman says now that he's home, he will return to his old job as an NYPD officer stationed in the Bronx.
