2ds agoA New Windsor officer is recovering after he was struck by a vehicle while on the scene of another accident.
Police say the officer responded to an accident around 8 p.m. Sunday involving an SUV that went off the road on Route 207. They say that's when another vehicle struck the officer and took off.
Authorities say the vehicle was located a short time later and a woman was taken in for questioning.
Both New Windsor and state police are investigating the incident.
