Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a convenience store in New Rochelle Thursday afternoon.
According to investigators, the incident happened at around 2 p.m., when the suspect walked into a 99-cent store on North Avenue, produced a gun and demanded cash. The clerk, however, said he had no key to the register.
The same store has been robbed twice before. The owner, Lin Mae, says both times the perpetrators didn't get away with much because she doesn't keep a lot of cash at the store.
Mae says despite safety issues, she has no plans of moving to another location.
