New Rochelle Public Library to reopen for first time in months

The New Rochelle Public Library is expected to reopen Monday after being closed for months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The library will be offering two hour limited sessions for browsing only. A little over 50 patrons will be allowed in at a time and they will all be required to wear face coverings.
Those looking to visit the New Rochelle Public Library will only be allowed to enter and exit through the Memorial Highway entrance. They will be invited in on a first come first serve basis.
Along with social distancing protocols, the library will also be offering hand sanitizer and disposable gloves around the building.

Access to public computers will be initially prohibited unless it is used for online catalogs.
The library will also reopen its Friends Bookstore on Tuesday. It will also be open every Thursday and Saturday for three customers at a time.
