New Rochelle police said they are investigating what appeared to be a serious accident near the corner of North and Lockwood avenues on Wednesday.
People on scene said it happened roughly between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
People on scene shared exclusive video with News 12 that showed a white Elecnor Hawkeye box truck, allegedly involved in the accident, rounding the corner.
Before it got towed away, News 12 saw investigators moving around the truck.
News 12 saw one man get underneath the truck with some type of device they were using in the investigation.
He was not too far away from what appeared to be a bag of laundry and cart that was pinned underneath the driver's side wheel of the truck.
Several people on scene watched the police response.
They shared images with the News 12 crew of what appeared to be a woman who was bleeding on the ground not too far away from a crosswalk.
New Rochelle resident Raymand A. said he and at least one other person tried helped her out.
He said he then tried assist responders with clearing the streets.
"We were here and we was [sic] trying to clear the streets so the cops could come in and the police could come in because everybody tried to block the road," he said.
