New Rochelle native found dead in Alabama river

Gadsden Police say the body of 20-year-old Bryan Stamps was recovered from the Coosa River Wednesday afternoon.

A former New Rochelle man who served time in a juvenile facility for a stabbing inside the high school was found dead in an Alabama river.
Gadsden Police say the body of 20-year-old Bryan Stamps was recovered from the Coosa River Wednesday afternoon.
His vehicle had been found running and abandoned on a bridge eight days before.
Stamps pleaded guilty to assault in the 2018 stabbing of another student inside the school.
He was released after serving his sentence.
