New Rochelle man charged with shooting victim in foot

Police say Richard Faulkner, 35, fired at an unknown target on Colonel Lee Archer Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A New Rochelle man has been charged in a shooting.
Police say Richard Faulkner, 35, fired at an unknown target on Colonel Lee Archer Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A 20-year-old man was struck in the foot.
It does not appear he was the intended target.
The victim walked into Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx and told NYPD he had been shot in New Rochelle.
Faulkner was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
A .380-caliber handgun was recovered from his residence.
