New Rochelle firefighters are investigating a suspicious blaze Monday that took place at a multi-family home over the weekend. Firefighters say when arrived at the Park Place apartment complex, they saw tenants jumping out of windows and landing on the roof of a next-door building. Fire crews say one of the men who jumped out the window was hospitalized, along with a firefighter who received burns to his neck. They were both taken to the hospital and are said to be doing OK. The blaze started in a first-floor hallway and spread upwards. Investigators are now taking a look at what started the fire that they believe was deliberately set. In the meantime, the Westchester Red Cross is helping the displaced tenants.
