New renderings show off $70 million Dutchess County Youth Center

The center will have many facilities including two pools, a gymnasium with a basketball court and track, an early learning and child care center, and a café with a teaching kitchen.

Progress is being made on the development of a Dutchess County Youth Center.

New building renderings have been released for the Youth Opportunity Union (YOU) which will be a multi-use facility focusing on recreational, educational and healthy opportunities for young people.

Poughkeepsie-based Mass Design Group has been reimagining the look of the youth center.

The county pledged $25 million toward the $70 million project.           

The center will have many facilities including two pools, a gymnasium with a basketball court and track, an early learning and child care center, and a café with a teaching kitchen.
