An appliance that most take for granted will make a major difference for St. Paul's Food Pantry clients in Spring Valley, who depend on the Rockland Community Against Hunger program to feed themselves and their families.

The gift comes from NY DanceSport, a New City-based dance school.

Food Pantry Executive Director Beverley Harrigan calls the donation a gift that guarantees fresh meals to residents who regularly deal with food insecurity.

"We'll be able to feed more people, it will be fresh. We want to give people fresh food from the farm to feed their families," she added.

The large, new refrigerator contains more space for the storage of fruit, vegetables, milk and desserts.
