375ds agoNew City celebrated Sunday's sunny spring weather with its "Meet Me on Main" outdoor dining event.
The New City Chamber of Commerce hosted the al fresco event which allows restaurant owners to set out tables and chairs along Congers Road and Demarest Avenue for a relaxing, peaceful dining experience under the sun.
Last year's event was held in the summer amid the pandemic to ensure that many COVID-19 protocols, including masks, sanitizer and socially distanced tables and chairs were in place.
Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann adds that he hopes not only to continue with this initiative, but expand upon it as well.
