A ribbon-cutting was held Monday for the Thomas E. and Alice Marie Hales Caregivers Center at Phelps hospital in Tarrytown. 

It's a space for families to rest and get support. It includes a resource library, an area with a massage chair and a kitchenette.

The center is designed after a similar one at Northern Westchester Hospital, which has become a model for two dozen similar caregiver centers across the country.
