Naturalization ceremonies will resume in Rockland and Westchester after pushback from communities and local leaders.

Congressman Mike Lawler announced U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will reverse its cancellation of the events in both counties.

Lawler said the decision came after discussions with the agency's director.

The ceremonies are expected to resume immediately.
