Employees at Clarkstown International Collision in Nanuet filled their Toys for Tots box the first day they got it.
They were joined by two former Marines to kick off their effort to give back to kids this Christmas.
"Our society these days is filled with give me, give me, give me, right? And in this particular case, it's the reverse. And when we do that, I can assure you that it's all within us to do something good. You'll feel wonderful about it,” says Richard Tanchyk, the vice president of the shop's parent company VIVE Collision.
For those who want to join them in giving back, the Toys for Tots box will be in the auto body repair shop's front lobby collecting unwrapped toys up until Dec. 20.
