Multiple people are in police custody following a high-speed chase in Yonkers.
Officials say Westchester County police started pursuing a car on the Cross County Parkway that was wanted by the NYPD in connection to a suspected shooting.
When the car entered into Weschester jurisdiction, Westchester County police attempted to follow it, and it turned into a chase.
The chase extended into Yonkers, where Yonkers police assisted.

A black Mercedes-Benz was eventually stopped in front of the Mavis Discount Tire Store on Central Avenue, where four people were arrested.

News 12 was told a Westchester County police car was hit during the pursuit, but no officers were injured.
When officials got to the scene, at least one person tried to evade police by jumping out of the car, but was captured on foot.
Officers searched the nearby grassy side areas for any potential evidence that may have been tossed out of the car. They also appeared to search through a backpack.

The area was cleared around 2 p.m.
County officials say the car was tied to a past shooting, and not one that happened Monday.
